Why is GNZ changing to a new platform?
In a nutshell, the current platform is more than 25 years old and is overdue for a newer model.
Will the new platform affect the way GNZ provides services to customers?
The new platform will be more responsive, i.e. accessible on mobile and hand-held devices.
Will the new platform cost the customer more?
The new platform will not mean a change for our current subscribers.
Will it mean more benefits for customers?
Yes! The new platform will generate search results faster and a customer profile will make logging in easier.
Will customers be affected during testing of the new platform?
Comprehensive testing will be conducted before the new platform is made ‘Live’. We envisage the transition between the two platforms will be seamless.
How long will it take to for the new platform to be fully functional?
We envisage the new platform will be fully functional at some point in October 2017. We will keep you updated about the launch date.
Is there a group of volunteer testers involved?
Yes, we are very grateful to a few customers who have offered to participate in the testing of the new platform.
Will the new platform take more bandwidth to run?
No. In fact, it will take less as the new platform is a more streamlined search engine than the previous one.
